In solidarity with one of the last bastions of free speech, Drowning in Absurdity is now on X/Twitter @absurdityreigns. The full DIA website name is too long for the X platform, and it was difficult to pick a meaningful alternative—how do you say “drowning in absurdity” without actually saying it? Of course the reason we’re all drowning in absurdity is because it’s running the show. It not only reigns, but is working feverishly, night and day, to reign supreme, over every aspect of our lives.
In light of that problem, I’ve also been working night and day on a very special project…one that has been a long time in coming, is very dear to my heart, and is a beacon meant to help us find our way back to the path of countless wonders.
Stay tuned.
Great to see the news you are on X, but the user name doesn’t exist???

All I see is the “something went wrong” notice now. I have a screenshot of the account/username and posted several articles there today. Let’s see what happens…

Yes, “strange'”. Think that’s just going to be my motto for 2024. 😉

Wondering if your Twitter/X posts will be available like this post, for those of us not on Twitter/X?

I will always post the original content here. DIA stopped using any kind of social media a while back because the censorship was so bad there was really no point. I’m hoping Musk’s commitment to free speech on X will change that, but that’s getting off to a rough start. I immediately discovered that anything shared with certain Voltaire quotes gets an error message and won’t post until you remove it. I’m cautiously optimistic!
